HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
We really had a wonderful, but uneventful New Years. The girls and I were sick so ended up staying home, snuggled under a blanket, watching Brave. It was really precious. After we put the girls to bed, Ethan and I toasted some Champagne (my fav) and hung out until a whopping 10:30. Yeah, we’re party animals! lol.
At last week’s link party, I asked for help in planning our Baltimore Blogger’s Holiday party and got some GREAT ideas – THANK YOU!
Party Food and Signature Drinks: Bragworthy!
As previously mentioned, I love me some Champagne! I have never had Cream de Cassis, but I am going to go buy some and try the recipe before our holiday party. Thanks for the great idea for a Kir Royale from Stephanie at Sweet Boutique.
Tanya from twelveOeight shares her favorite Spinach Dip recipe, using Alfredo Sauce! How cool is that?
Barb at Second Chance to Dream shares her 25 Quick and Easy Appetizer Recipes. The Sausage Cheese Balls look Ah-MAH-zing!
Linda from With A Blast shares her super pretty Coconut and Cardamom Cupcakes….with marshmallow topping. Yum!
Some MORE Bragworthy Projects
I love this reversible eye mask tutorial from Clippie Dips! This would be great for road trips, too.
Mandy from House of Rose shares her Creamy Chicken Florentine recipe, which I would totally make tonight if I had all the ingredients.
Phaedra’s Adventures shares her Steeler’s Quilt, but I think she was a bit confused and accidentally used the wrong colors because I’m pretty sure it would have looked a lot better in purple (Go Ravens!). LOL!
Last but not least, I am dying to try this all natural sugar scrub from Connie at Family Home and Life!
Our #1 Brag!
Every week, we choose one link at random to receive free ad space for one week! This week, our ad winner was chosen at random using random.org. Out of 45 links, number 18 was chosen – our friend, Anne at White Lace Cottage! YAY! She shares her best of 2012.
Bragging Rules
The Humble Brag is all about encouraging one another in our pursuits (and sometimes even fails). We’re excited to see what you have been up to in your crafting/DIY world. We also welcome recipes and other projects. I will be visiting each and every link over the coming day or two, so bring it on!
We ask that you:
- Please grab a button or link back to this post
- Link directly to your article
- Don’t link to a shop, store or giveaway
Make sure to check back next week to see if your project has been featured and thanks for sharing.

As Always, thanks for reading…and linking up!
Thank you for featuring my quilt! I am a Denver Broncos fan so it was a bit painful to make a quilt out of black and gold…
hahaha, so I guess I forgive you… Don’t worry, I don’t take the rivalry as seriously as most. My sister and Bro-in-Law live in PA and are big steelers fans and we watch games with them and give them all steelers presents for holidays. 🙂 We enjoy the competition and teasing.
You should have added a subtle block or two within the pattern that roots for the Broncos 🙂
Thank you for the feature and the party ! Love all today’s features, especially the quilt 🙂
Thanks so much for the feature!
