Welcome back bloggy friends! This past week I have been researching and touring preschools for Izzie in the fall while also prepping for Lucy’s 2nd birthday and party. While super stressed out about where Izzie will be attending preschool, it has been a lot of fun celebrating Lucy’s birthday today. Because of all that this week, my usual posting and projects have taken a back seat. Not to worry, I’ll be back in full swing soon. 🙂
Some Bragworthy Projects
As always, last week’s party was super FAB and we had a couple new friends join us too. I have really been loving to getting to know each of you as you have shared your projects and lives through the link party. It has given me a much desired sense of community in this weird blog world! So many many thanks to you!!
Here were a few of my favorites from last week:
When I recapped my highlights from the last week, I forgot to mention that our very own Baltimore Ravens are going to the Super Bowl! Holy Moly, we’re so excited. Trish from Mom On Timeout shares some really cool football party ideas that I may whip out on the 3rd!
It may be that I’m just hungry as I pick my favorites from last week, but Kaylee’s Brown Butter Snickerdoodles with Dove Heart Chocolates on top look ah.maz.ing! Thanks Couponing and Cooking!
Have you seen these DIY Dog Bowl Chairs from The DIY Village? Seriously, they look like they could be straight out of the Pottery Barn catalog. Jacque and Matt, in addition to doing some really wowing projects, have been super kind and generous to us, so go check out them out!
Keri from Shaken Together Life shares her creative and rustic Valentine’s Day entryway – I so <3 this!
I know, another Valentine’s project, but I just can’t help myself. I love this sweet little Valentine’s Vase from Mary Beth at Cupcakes and Crinoline. The best part – Mary Beth bought the vase for 50 cents at the thrift store and then used Sharpies!
Just another pretty piece of art? I think not. Amanda from Dixie Delights and her better half designed and built this TV cabinet to hide their flat screen! What?!?!? That’s crazy cool!
Our #1 Brag!
Our link parties continue to grow and grow, and each week we select a random participant to receive free ad space in our sidebar! The ad winner was chosen using random.org, and out of 74 links, number 23 was chosen – Connie from Family Home and Life. Congrats Connie, and thanks for sharing some great tips for saving money at home, like making your own sugar scrub!
Bragging Rules
The Humble Brag is all about encouraging one another in our pursuits (and sometimes even fails). We’re excited to see what you have been up to in your crafting/DIY world. We also welcome recipes and other projects. I will be visiting each and every link over the coming week, so bring it on!
We ask that you:
- Please grab a button or link back to this post (although not required, we appreciate the love)
- Link directly to your article
- Don’t link to a shop, store or giveaway
Make sure to check back next week to see if your project has been featured and thanks for sharing.

Can’t help but think that the dog bowl chairs look like bedpan chairs…haha…
Can’t wait for the Super Bowl. It’s usually bigger than Thanksgiving as far as food goes…it is a holiday for SURE. And sorry Jocie…but I definitely want the Ravens to get crushed
hahaha i hadn’t thought about that….but now that you say it…. Lol!
As for the Ravens, I’m sorry, I guess we can no longer be friends. heehee but didn’t the ravens win last time we played??? 🙂
LOL I totally thought Portapotty but I can see how a large dog like a Great Dane would benefit from having their food/water at that height.
Hah I thought that too. Will you all be hosting a Super Bowl party? Best of luck to the Ravens
Thanks for the feature! Happy Weekend!
