Its been a busy week, as usual here in Baltimore. First off, we won the Super Bowl. Not sure if you had heard. 😉 It was pretty amazing (although a bit ugly, at times). Then Ethan and I headed to North Carolina to hang out with some pretty amazing bloggers for a Rust-Oleum event. We got the scoop and some pretty amazing products and I am DYING to tell you about, so stay tuned. Can you tell I’m excited?!?
Some Bragworthy Projects
Here were a few of my favorites from last week:
Jacque and Matt from the DIY Village keep coming up with amazing projects – if you don’t follow them, you should go check them out. I love this Pop-Up Photo Box! What a thoughtful gift idea.
We love Before and After projects here at OPC and this Bathroom Makeover from House of Rose is simply gorgeous. I love the mixture of different patterns of gray and white. And the rose wall is NOT wallpaper, but a stencil. Pretty amazing, right?
Kaylee from Couponing and Cooking shared her recipe for Chocolate Covered Rolo & Ritz Cracker Sandwiches. I don’t have the self-control to make these at home, but if you want to make some and invite me over, I wouldn’t hate you for it. lol.
Tanya from twelveOeight shares her Vintage Industrial Message Board. So simple and beautiful!
Whenever I see or eat gumdrops I think of my grandmother’s gum drop tree and I’m filled with lots of warm fuzzies. These Valentine’s Day Homemade Gum Drops from Trish at Mom on Timeout are really cool!
Karin from Art is Beauty is the furniture queen! She works miracles with ugly, beaten down furniture and turns them into works of art. I love this Farm Fresh Dining Table and Chairs Makeover.
Our #1 Brag!
We are so honored for each and every link-up, and to say thanks we select a random participant as our Weekly Brag and feature their blog in our sidebar! Each week we select a winner using random.org, and out of 89 links from the last party, number 43 was chosen – Stephanie from Sweet Botique. She shared her dark and decadent Salted Turtle Tart. In sticking with the alliteration – it looks dark, decadent and deadly! 🙂
Bragging Rules
The Humble Brag is all about encouraging one another in our pursuits (and sometimes even fails). We’re excited to see what you have been up to in your crafting/DIY world. We also welcome recipes and other projects. I will be visiting each and every link over the coming week, so bring it on!
We ask that you:
- Please grab a button or link back to this post (although not required, we appreciate the love)
- Link directly to your article
- Don’t link to a shop, store or giveaway
Make sure to check back next week to see if your project has been featured and thanks for sharing.
Grab a Button
Remember, please post a button or text link back to our party somewhere in your original post. We hope you also take the time to click on one or two other party-goers projects and give some encouragement.
