Ladies and Gentlemen, the votes are in. We’ve counted and recounted. Actually the handy poll gadget did all that for us. The winner of the One Project Closer, 2008 Before and After contest is Carol from Painter Gal’s Little Cottage!
Carol submitted an excellent Before and After showing the dramatic renovation of her 1970’s Kitchen. She won the contest with an amazing 278 votes! For winning the contest, Carol will receive a $50 gift card from the home improvement center of her choice. Be sure to stop by her site to congratulate her.
The next runner up was Jon from Tales From the Eye, and honorable mention to Young House Love and Cape Cod Makeover who tied for third place.
We want to say a big thank you to those who participated in the Before and After event. We really appreciate everyone who donated to Habitat, submitted articles, put up a graphic, posted about the event and spread the word. It was a huge success. We’ve raised support and awareness for an excellent cause, Habitat for Humanity, and saw some great transformations. Hopefully you’ll remember Habitat and make an effort to support them in the future.
